Image GPT

In 2020, OpenAI developed Image GPT (iGPT), a type of Transformer-based model that works with image sequences instead of text. OpenAI discovered that, similarly to GPT models for text, iGPT could generate realistic, coherent images and samples when given an initial set of pixels.
