Recreating Conversations with Deceased Partner

In an article for the San Francisco Chronicle, Barbeau explained how he used an AI software called Project December to recreate conversations with his late fiancé. The software uses artificial intelligence technology to generate hyper-realistic chatbots. All he had to do was plug in old messages and provide some background info, and the AI was able to replicate his partner with amazing accuracy.

It may seem like a miracle (or a Black Mirror episode), but experts warn that the same technology could be used to spread false information.
