At its yearly Build event, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella unveiled an AI-driven feature.

Microsoft Power Fx is a free formula language for low-code development based on Microsoft Excel.

In action, this will look like a non-professional programmer typing in "find products where the name starts with 'kids' " — and Power Apps then transforming this into "Filter('BC Orders', Left('Product Name',4)="Kids")".

"The GPT-3 feature is restricted in its range and can only produce formulas in Microsoft Power Fx, a simple programming language originating from Microsoft Excel formulas mainly used for database searches. Nevertheless, it displays the immense potential of machine learning to assist amateur coders by serving as an autocomplete tool for code."
