Codex CLI
CLI tool that uses Codex to turn natural language commands into their Bash/ZShell/PowerShell equivalents
About Codex CLI
This project utilizes the GPT-3 Codex to enable users to control their computers using Natural Language (NL). The Command Line Interface (CLI) is a powerful tool that can do almost anything, however, it requires users to express their intent very precisely, using the language of the computer. By employing a Large Language Model (LLM) that has been trained on code, this project permits users to interact with the CLI using NL.
Codex CLI suggests cross-shell NL->Code commands when the user enters a natural language command, such as "what's my IP address", and hits Ctrl + G. The project is powered by the ready-to-use GPT-3 Codex model, without the need for additional training. The team behind the project has employed a special technique called prompt engineering to ensure the model produces the correct commands.
Codex CLI was created by the team at Microsoft.
