Shutterstock has announced a collaboration with OpenAI, which would enable the AI lab's text-to-image model DALL-E 2 to be integrated into Shutterstock in the near future.

Shutterstock has created a Contributor Fund to provide compensation to creators when the company utilizes their artwork to train text-to-image AI models. This is in response to criticism from artists whose works have been used without their permission to create these systems. Additionally, Shutterstock has prohibited the sale of AI-generated art on its website that has not been produced using its DALL-E integration.
